You may not know it but opportunities to get things for free are all around you—legally free opportunities. If you do just a little bit of homework you can find ways to get free goods from retailers that can add up to big, big savings:
Credit Cards: Don’t even think about signing up for a credit card that doesn’t offer bonus/advantage points. Each credit card has its own system, but essentially you can get bonus points toward free goods and services based on how much money you charge to the card every month. I personally use my bonus points the most during the holidays. I rack up points all year and when Christmas comes around I use the points I’ve earned to get free gift cards and other gifts for friends and family. The holiday season rarely costs me a penny.
Free Stuff: You don’t need to go the extreme couponing route to get free products from local retailers. Merchants are always promoting their products or services with give-a-way deals and two-for-one offers. This link will take you to the Free Stuff & Samples page where you can often find deals that range from free boxes of chocolate from Fannie May Fine Chocolates to free shipping on Grooming Lounge Fine Men’s Grooming Products & Services.
